The Gist (Minus Spoilers)
It’s a movie about gamers trying to win a competition and one of them is getting over his wife leaving him. It’s been about 12 hours since I saw it, and can’t remember much else, so it obviously wasn’t that impressive.
What I Liked
It wasn’t bad for an independent movie, and was humorous. Some of the jokes were worth a chuckle. It wasn’t a gaming-heavy comedy, that is, I’m not a gamer, and I still enjoyed it. I know I sounded very critical in the summary above, but really, it wasn’t a terrible movie, and a decent comedy. Also, it was nice seeing Jason Mewes as someone NOT Jay because that character is really annoying (I also liked him in Scott and the Book of Pure Evil).
What I Didn’t Like
It wasn’t that funny. I wouldn’t watch it again, or recommend it to someone that wanted to watch a comedy.
It’s a good movie for an afternoon when your’e bored and have nothing else to watch. That’s just what I did. I couldn’t find anything I really wanted to see, so just picked something random in my Netflix feed. It’s a good way to kill an hour or so, but I woudln’t recommend it to anyone looking for big laughs. The bitchy girlfriend has some nice boobies too. The funniest part of the movie was the joke about glazed donuts.
Outside the USA and cant’ get Netflix? Fix that problem with a US IP.
