Xbox 360 is a very cool gaming console, that you can also use to connect to the internet with. There’s even a way to watch Netflix movies on it.
All you have to do is to have a Netflix account and then you can sign in to watch online movies and TV shows from their library. But using Netflix outside the USA on Xbox 360 comes with a couple issues that take some time to work through.
Outside the USA?
If you are away from home, and are American, this will be a bit easier. You will not be able to access your Netflix account, but at least you have one. And if you don’t, you can get one easily. For non-Americans to get a Netflix account, you can either
a. Get a Paypal or other online money transfer account that Netflix accepts
b. Get gift certificates available on the Netflix site or other gift card sites

What to do next
Get an Xbox Live Subscription. This can also be done on Amazon or other gift card sites. The cards are redeemed online, so your real location is unimportant.
And Then?
Get a VPN subscription.
You will have to have a VPN subscription to change your IP address. VPN (Virtual Private Network) helps to connect non-US users with non-US IP addresses with Netflix using an IP address from inside the USA. With your traffic rerouted through the VPN server in The US, you’ll be able to access Netflix outside the USA on Xbox 360. Without a problem.
A VPN service is available from many service providers. You can find a number of good ones with a quick Google search, but beware of fake VPN review sites. A lot of places just set up quick review sites, pull data off the VPN sites home page, give it a 9/10 stars, and don’t think twice about it. I’ll tell you about my two favorite services at the end of this post.
After setting your Xbox with your Laptop or Computer, you will connect Xbox with the VPN. After this, you will have to make some changes in your configuration settings to the Internet Protocol version 4 from your laptop or computer. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and VPN services vary in installation methods. I’ll play it safe and tell you that it’s best to get instructions provided by the VPN service provider you choose. You can’t go wrong.
